Thunderbolt Business Services was started in April 2011 by Steve Melito, a technical writer turned content marketer with a particular passion for manufacturing. He lives and works in Adams, Massachusetts (USA) near the base of Mt. Greylock and a steep trail, the Thunderbolt, which gave his can-do company its name.
Before launching his own marketing agency, Steve was the Manager of Engineering Editorial Content at IEEE GlobalSpec, where he wrote about everything from AC motors to zippers and won awards for profit acceleration and social media excellence. His prolific content creation and community-building were instrumental to the success of CR4: The Engineer’s Place for News and Discussion.
Today, Steve’s Thunderbolt clients include small-to-medium manufacturers across the United State and Canada. He also supports FuzeHub, New York State’s only statewide Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) center, as part of its Matching Program. Additional Thunderbolt clients include trade associations and companies in other technology areas.
